Yesterday Glorious Death added Colin “Q-Tip” Florez as the band’s second guitarist. Colin has been working with the band for almost a year now in the studio on the new album due out in late 2010. After jamming with us for a long time we decided to add him as a full member of the band.
Work continues on the second album, but the band is still seeking a bassist and vocalist. If interested, e-mail the band at contact@gloriousdeath.com.

Glorious Death is currently looking for a new bassist and vocalist for the band (or someone who can do both). The band currently meets to practice and record 1-2 times a week, and is currently working on recording a new album due out this fall.
The band currently practices in Kirkwood MO. We are not looking for a specific style of vocals or bass playing, we just want someone that will mesh well with the band and be able to contribute to the music writing process as well as live shows. We hope to be playing live shows again by summer. We have already played shows at venues such as Cicero’s, Pops and more.
If interested please contact us at contact@gloriousdeath.com with a little info about you, a phone number, and links to any recordings if you have them. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Today marks the launch date of the much awaited new Glorious Death website! The site is still under construction but we will keep on updating it and we hope to have the whole thing complete by the end of the week so keep checking back for updates.
The new website coincides with the new album the band will be releasing this fall.

Hollywood, CA – The sun will set permanently on Aug. 19 when Glorious Death releases its genre-bending masterpiece “The Dawn of Darkness,” a focused, intense, eclectic album of hard-hitting tunes.
“I strongly believe that the industry is a cookie-cutter, look-alike, cloning machine,” according to Mike McKeown, the primary member of Glorious Death, offering the motivation behind writing music that mixes styles with such seeming abandon.

Greetings kids!
Work on the new album continues throughout the winter months. So far 2 of the 3 instrumentals for the album have been recorded. In addition, the songs “Heathen” and “Come Into the Night” have been completed and both are on our Myspace player, meaning 4 songs are complete.
There is still no official release date for the album, but we are thinking early June 2007. We have finally come up with a final track listing, as follows.
