Back and Better Than Ever!

Glorious Death is back and better than ever! The band is currently working on it’s second album which is planned for Fall 2010.

Glorious Death is a St. Louis based industrial metal band which got its start as a solo project of Mike McKeown in 2004. Three demos were released before the album “The Dawn of Darkness” opened up the band to the St. Louis music scene. At the same time the solo project turned into a full band which promoted the new album with several shows throughout the St. Louis area.

After several successful shows at venues like Pops, Cicero’s and the like the band took a few years off while searching for a new drummer and bassist. The band started work on it’s second album in 2008 without a drummer, but progress soon stalled.

In 2009 efforts were renewed on the stalled second album. Late in 2009 the band added a new drummer… Jared Miller. With the addition of Jared on drums the band renewed it’s efforts on the follow-up to “The Dawn of Darkness” which is expected to be released in Fall of 2010. One new track “The End of Suffering” has already been released on the band’s website and Myspace page.
