The Best Metal band in St. Louis has been Resurrected!

Glorious Death is back and better than ever! With a recently upgraded recording studio and a soon to be released album, Glorious Death is taking its position at the top of the metal scene!

Glorious Death is a St. Louis based black/industrial metal band which got its start as a solo project of Mike McKeown in 2004. Three demos were released before the album “The Dawn of Darkness” opened up the band to the St. Louis music scene. At the same time the solo project turned into a full band which promoted the new album with several shows throughout the St. Louis area.

After several successful shows at venues like Pops, Cicero’s and the like the band took a few years off while searching for a new drummer and bassist. The band started work on it’s second album in 2008 without a drummer, but progress soon stalled.

In 2011 with a new lineup and a re-energized spirit, the band released “The Day The Sun Turned Black EP.” High off the overwhelmingly positive response of the EP the band went back to their newly upgraded studio to begin recording a new album titled “Resurrection” which is due out in 2012!
